Insanity the Asylum: Overtime

This morning was my final attempt at Gameday plus Overtime, during my first round of Asylum.

Gameday is an hour-long workout.  The intention is that the other Asylum workouts train you to perform during 'gameday'.  The Gameday workout is only completed 3 times during the 30 day program.  This workout pushes your cardiovascular fitness and saps the strength from all muscle groups.

The second and third Gameday is followed by Overtime.  This is a 12 minute workout.  On its own, this would be a tough 12 minute workout, but following Gameday, it becomes an incredible challenge to your mind and body.

This is a recording of my 'attempt' at Overtime from day 25 in the program.  The Gameday workout had already left me spent.  My quad muscles in particular were loaded with lactic acid and had already given just about their all.  I really had to dig deep to get through to the end.

Enjoy!
